Since its inception in 1922, the purpose of the Glendale Art Association has remained consistent: To create and preserve beauty and to promote the appreciation of art. Its many dedicated members have striven year-after-year to instill an ever-increasing awareness of and sensitivity to that which is beautiful. They have endeavored, and succeeded, in involving the community in these very worthwhile aspirations, and there is much evidence that both members and the community have benefited from their efforts.
