February Meeting
We'll be meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12th, at
Florencita Studios (BMAI)
2228 Florencita Street, Montrose
Our demonstrator this month is award-winning stone sculptor artist Fred Hecht. Following a career in apparel and promotional products, Fred now dedicates himself to crafting stunningly detailed stone sculptures. You can view his work here.
This will be a chance to learn about an art form that is unfamiliar to many of us!
Please bring a snack or drink to share, and a piece of artwork for the mini-show.

The GAA has been contacted by The Makery in Los Angeles, asking for contributions of art supplies, which they will provide to fire victims. Please click here for details.
Losing all the tools that allow for creative expression is another tragedy for the people who need this most right now. Please be generous--and please pass the information along to family or friends who might have some spare items to share.
